This Crap Is Getting Old

.. and it just keeps getting worse. I mean, really, how MUCH worse can it get?  As I said before, my husband was cleared to go back to work the Friday before Thanksgiving. He didn't get to start last week because of the holiday week ...etc.. One woman told him that he would start Monday, but that the other head woman had to call him and tell him what time and what dept. he would be in now. She never called. Then they were supposed to have a meeting with the owners yesterday to find out exactly where they wanted him at. Never heard anything. Found out today that they were waiting to have their meeting at 4:30 and that the meeting usually lasts a half an hour. Of course, that makes it after 5:00 when all of the office people are gone. So right now, we have no idea IF or WHEN he is going back to work... but wait, it gets better. Worker's comp. told him that his workers comp. pay ended the day that the doctor cleared him to go back to work. This means that tomorrow his check will probably only be for one week, instead of two. It also means, that there will be no more checks until he goes back to work. I mean, seriously.. what the Fuck else could go wrong? What are we supposed to fucking do?? Even if they have him start tomorrow, which it's too late for that, he won't get a check for a few weeks. What are we supposed to do in the meantime? Can someone tell me??? He has been job hunting every where, hoping to get something else in the mean time since his job seems to be fuckin him around about coming back. It's bullshit that worker's comp ended, when it's his JOB that isn't taking him back! I COULD possibly have a job as a traveling medical assistant. Going around and doing physicals and blood work for insurance companies. The pay is really good and you get to pick your own hours and what towns you want to work in, BUT you need your own centrifuge (the machine that spins blood after it is drawn). My friend found one for $125. I don't have $125. I don't even have $25. I've just about had it with this shit. It's just one thing after another and it really isn't fucking fair. What the Hell have we done to deserve it? We are good people. We are the type of people that will stop to help someone on the side of the road, while everyone else just drives by and ignores them. We are the type that will use our last couple of dollars to buy the homeless guy a warm meal. We are always willing to help anyone we can. This is one reason why I don't believe in God. God wouldn't be this cruel. Thankfully we OWN our home, otherwise we would be getting thrown out on our asses. We may have a home but that doesn't mean we will have heat, or water, or electricity, or phones, or internet.

Other than the same daily BS... Thanksgiving went well. My mother in law and her boyfriend came after all, but of course, left almost as soon as they were done eating. Wow we made a lot of food though and it was soo delicious! Leftovers are gone now though.. well, I think there are still a few in the fridge but they are getting pitched.

Got all of the Christmas decorations up finally. Usually I am so excited about putting up decorations. But this year, I'm just not into it with everything else going on. I can't get excited about it when I know we can't even afford to buy our kids gifts or do anything else fun to enjoy the season. I'm getting sick and tired of everyone talking about it online and all of the sales advertisements. I've been entering sweepstakes and contests trying to win something, but no luck. People that are probably winning them most likely have a lot of money and don't even need them. That's how it usually works.
